I was asked to design the artwork for The Simpletone band’s album Rampenny.
This was a brilliant project that was loads of fun.. how could a ram on a pennyfarthing not be?!
I created designs for the cover and CD insert which were used in the manufacture of the CD’s and also as the cover image on iTunes, Spotify and other outlets.
Some merchandise; tshirts, keyrings, etc were also designed using the cover illustration and/or band name typeface, these were then sold at gigs.
I was also involved in the design of the artwork for another of their albums, Dark Matter.
A long-exposure photograph I created using torches to create text was used in the insert.
